Do you love meat and want to learn more about Brazilian cuisine? Then you are exactly right here. In this blog post I would like to introduce you to the Viva Brazil restaurant in Cardiff, which is one of the best Brazilian restaurants in the UK. I was there last week with my family and we had a fantastic time. Here is my experience report.

We arrived at the restaurant around 7 p.m. and were greeted warmly. The restaurant was already pretty full, but luckily we had a reservation. We were given a nice table near the grill where we could watch the meat sizzle. The concept of the restaurant is simple: you get a small wooden skewer. with a green and a red side. If you hold the green side up, it means you want more meat. Holding the red side up means you want to take a break. The waiters then come to the table with various meat skewers and cut off a piece. You can eat as much as you want.

The meat was incredibly tasty and tender. There was beef, pork, chicken, lamb and even pineapple with cinnamon. Each variety had a different marinade or spice mix that gave it a special flavor. My personal favorite was the garlic steak, which was so flavorful that I couldn't get enough of it. My children loved the sausages, which were nice and crunchy. My husband raved about the lamb, which he described as the best he had ever eaten.

In addition to the meat, there was also a large salad buffet where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted. There were various salads, vegetables, stews, cheese and other side dishes. I tried the black bean stew with rice, which was very hearty. My kids liked the potato salad with corn and peas. My husband enjoyed the cheese with olives and bread.

To drink, we ordered Caipirinhas, the typical Brazilian cocktail made from cachaça (sugar cane liquor), lime juice, sugar and ice. The caipirinhas were very refreshing and went perfectly with the meat. We also drank water and juice with it.

For dessert we still had some room for a few sweets. We chose the brigadeiros, small chocolate balls with coconut shavings that were very sweet. and were creamy. We also shared a portion of Pudim de Leite Condensado, a caramel pudding made from condensed milk that was very smooth and creamy.

We were very happy with our food and the service. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. They explained everything we wanted to know and gave us tips on what types of meat we should try. They also joked with us and created a good atmosphere. The restaurant had a great atmosphere that made us feel like we were in Brazil. We heard Brazilian music in the background and saw other guests dancing and laughing.

The drinks and desserts were extra in the price. We found the price reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We also got a 10% discount because we had a voucher from the restaurant's website.

We left the restaurant with a smile on our face and a full stomach. We had a wonderful time at Viva Brazil and would recommend it to anyone who loves meat and wants to try something new. It's a great experiences for the whole family or for a special occasion. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.
